Maine West Fine Arts Boosters will host their 2nd annual Comic Con, Warrior-Con, on Saturday November 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Headlining guest for this year is creator/writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson, best known for his work on Superman/Action Comics, Batman and Robin, The Incredible Hulk, Alien, and 007. Warrior-con features some National and Chicagoland’s best artists and illustrators. Confirmed creators coming this year include:

In addition to connecting with artists, attendees will enjoy a variety of pop culture merchandise, including Funko Pops, anime, collectibles, sketches, books, artwork, toys, action figures, Hot Wheels, pins, magnets and more. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
Warrior Con is family-friendly and open to all ages. An admission fee of $5 will be charged at the door. All entry proceeds support the Maine West Fine Arts Boosters. Parking can be found in the back of the school off of Oakton Street and visitors can enter through the bus concourse.
Please keep in mind that all Maine West HS rules are in effect (whether or not you currently attend Maine West) while at the event, which includes the dress code. If you plan to cosplay, your face must be visible at all times in your costume and no lookalike weapons of any kind are allowed.
We are no longer taking any more applications for vendors and creators. Come to our show on November 22nd to support us, and see if our show is right for you to join us next year!
